Earl Hoyt
Category B - Bowhunters who
have shown Excellence in the Design and Manufacturing of Archery Equipment
Amidst the excitement of the opening ceremony of the
21st Atlantic City Archery Classic at the Atlantic City Convention Center,
the Bowhunters Hall of Fame through Helen Bolnick, presented to
Earl Hoyt a special Bowhunters Hall of Fame plaque with an
Olympic sized gold medallion.
Earl Hoyt's contributions to archery
are well known and span 60 years of devotion to the sport, and is well
known for his excellence in the manufacturing of bowhunting equipment.
Earl Hoyt, along with Fred Bear, Saxton
Pope, Art Young and 23 other Hall of Famers, were voted as
charter members of the NBHF by over 300 NBHF inductors made up of the
nation's finest leaders and representatives of the entire archery
industry. Earl Hoyt and the other charter members of the NBHF have been
enshrined not only as Bowhunters Hall of Fame members, but
also became part of this century's honor of honors and has joined the very
prestigious scroll of the Bowhunters Hall of Fame "Salute
to the Legends of the Bowhunters Hall of Fame."
